Sprint Meeting - 2/15/21 What apps and websites are you using now and what do you not like about them? Instacart UI is horrible and clunky Does not have the feature where you can have multiple places to order from in a single cart You can order things that are actually out of stock at grocery stores - very slow in updating accurate inventory at stores Make sure it works better for mobile Will the website be geared towards customers or stores more? Front end is more geared towards customers, contacting customers Back end is more towards the back end, such as contacting stores and inventory What will the first deliverable be like? How should development begin? Should we prioritize building a database/what will that involve? What are the technologies that we will use? Research what is the best option even if we need to learn them Inquire more about the UI and presentation Is this geared towards PC shoppers or mobile shoppers? Focus more on mobile rather than phones “If it works for mobile then it works for browser” Should we split the group so half works on UI and half works on back-end? Do we have to use actual services from stores? We WILL be using dummy data Inquire about middleware Will our service interface with drivers or will that be handled by the stores? What to do in case of Out of Stock items? (Suggest other brand or other stores) Separate items by store or search all items and be told where items are? How expensive is the catalogue of items being offered? How board are the categories of items being offered? Will there be a delivery radius? Will one person deliver the whole order, or will multiple people come from multiple stores? We are in charge of delivery Splitting the deliveries and sending that to potentially multiple delivery drivers Can select from multiple stores and still be a single checkout
